my cell is small,
the bars are cold,
the cot is grimy,
the water contaminated,
no love for a freak.

my cell is dark,
no sound is allowed,
no visitors come,
no holidays celebrated,
no hope or faith,
no love for a freak.

my cell is gray,
all color drained,
all nourishment spoiled,
all truth vanished,
all warmth forgotten,
no love for a freak.

my cell is my home,
they threw me in here and threw away the key,
this is all I've ever known,
